Italian spag~ + french macaroon = Spagroon??

Our first review is on paragon , one of the high class shopping center in singapore.
hidden within is some authentic & delicious italian food & french dessert. cheers .

At Spagaddies @ paragon :Kyon:An Aglio Olio + [Insert italian word here] dish containing mushrooms and ham.Personally,i like this the most out of all the spaghettis ordered. 7/10

Alex: Spagaddies Alio olio + ham & mushroom
A seemingly simple dish but requires good skill to prepare.
Especially that the spagaddies have to be cooked Al Dante (the centralize part of the spagaddies is still raw).overall I give it 6/10 the minus part is for the overly salty ham.
Kyon:These calamaris are good, with perfect amount of batter. 7/10

Alex: Fried Calamari
One of the favorites of all time.
However this particular time the calamari isn’t as fresh
I daresay the calamari has been an overnight item due to its sogginess & rubbery texture
5/10

Kyon:These taste good anywhere you eat them(Unless the restaurant serving it is really screwed up) The tomatoes on top make them taste better....well,just slightly, and 70% of mine fell off before i even took a bite -_- 7/10

Alex: Tomato Basil Bruschetta
Garlic bread is like a common item that can bee seen everywhere,
It is normally considered as a heaty item , however by adding tomatos cubes flavoured with garlic, basil & olive oil, the juiciness & taste of tomato will divert the attention away & also make the plain old garlic bread more completed.
6/10
Kyon:I wish the salad comes with thousand island instead of some spicy weird sauce, therefore,i avoided this dish as the sauce was poured over it due to consensus.Im sure it would taste really good with thousand island sauce,i saw some other table ordering this too.

Alex:Oriental Crispy Chicken Salad

The batter over the meat is too thick for my liking which resulted in a quite dry & tasteless chicken. Also the alfalfas are already withering & the edges of the salad are also brownish. However the dish was “saved” by the sauce as the spiciness will tend to make people forget the minor details.
5 /10

Kyon:Ermm,i dont eat clams, mussels, oysters and such so i shouldnt rate this.

Alex: Spaghetti Vongole
One of my all time favorites
Delicate white wine sauce removes the otherwise “pungent” smell from the clams, also gave the spagaddies a tingly taste. A must try for seafood lovers.
7/10

Kyon:Who doesnt like crayfish and lobsters? But unfortunately the spaghettis are so so only. 5/10
Alex: Crayfish Parmigiana
The Neapolitan sauce steals the limelight away from the not so fresh & watery crayfish. Which might be considered a blessing in disguise? The aglio olio preparation & taste falls below standard & the suppose to be HOT plate item turn out barely warm due to the slow serving speed of the runners & untimely dishing out by the chefs .
3/10

At Bakerzins:Kyon:A nice dessert to end the eating fes. These macaroons are colourful and we took every single one they had to offer.I ate 2:The rightmost chocolatety looking 1 and it was awesome!8/10,Unfortunately,the 2nd 1 was too sweet and chewy and not to my liking.5/10

Alex:Some like me consider macaroons a work of art more den a dessert
By the look of the macaroons, it will sure draw attention from customers due to its brilliant colors.
I personally like the taste of macaroons although some will find it a bit oversweet.
Minus off the sogginess due to air conditioning
, It’s still a well received item. A must try for dessert lovers
7/10
